Growing up too fast...
Happy Monday! I had a realization this morning. Our kids are growing up way too fast. They are now at the age that we want them to freeze and just stop growing. They are both so cute and funny. Brady came in our room this morning to wake us up and he was so proud of himself for not going into Addison's room to wake her up first and then clear as day he asked us what we were going to be for Halloween. He's 2.5! And speaking clear sentences. Then I sat down for my morning coffee and grapefruit and saw this picture when I opened my real estate newspaper:
So if you know of anyway to freeze our kids, please let me know! Have a great day!
Class of 2025! Addison is in the very top row in the center.

Sunday Funday
Peek a boo!
Addy has no idea what the sign behind her says, she wouldn't like that
How precious are we
We love pumpkins
Today we went to Lucy's Fried Chicken on South Congress for lunch first and then to a pumpkin patch. Then we of course had to walk to the Hey Cupcake trailer and get a cupcake!
Then after naptime, our awesome neighbor came over and gave us an old train toy and these light sabers. Needless to say, we had fun running around the house playing Star Wars. And then we hit the media room for Madagascar 3. :) (Oh, and Addy watched E.T. on Friday night for family night movie night and she loved it!)

Who knew a spider web could provide so much entertainment?
The kids doing the limbo with the spider web on our bushes. We pay for toys that cost money and this spider web was so cheap and provided an hour of entertainment!
How cute is this?
There's a mom in our Girl Scout troop that is so creative and talented! Quite a good pinner on Pinterest, too. This isn't the first time I've thought this of her as her daughter also brought treats to Bradyn's class at his school. For snacks yesterday, she made mummy hotdogs, ghost cupcakes with marshmellow frosting and these snack bags...
I am just glad I don't have the month of November cause I don't know if I could follow her. So cute!!

A very productive week!
Wow, it's been a crazy and awesome week. In case I ever forget all that's been going on:
- Learned how to coupon, save at the store and how to find special deals at MOPS meeting (and ate the best breakfast I have had in years)
- Volunteered for Addy's class
- Had breakfast with Mom at school and Scott and I had lunch with her a different day
- Had a beautiful coffee/therapy session with four new friends at Thyme and Dough
- Negotiated a house in Galveston for GiGi!
- Got a new phone number right in the middle of exercising/talking to an agent on the phone (thanks Scott!)
- Had a closing on my first listing in Austin!
- Went to a dermatologist and found out I don't have skin cancer, yay!
- Got Brady's immunizations up to date
- A nice massage/rub down
- Scott's virtual reality lab has been catching buzz all around campus this week-it's going to be so great for him!
- Went to a new exercise class I have never been to before- a barre class and it was awesome and hurt so good.
- Watched Addy eat more than she's ever eaten her life this week (has had 2 dinners on more than one night) and last night ate some of my Italian sausage Bolognese and loved it!
- Ate lunch with Scott at our first trailer
- Took a MLS class in north Austin
- Decorated a bowl for a charity/fundraiser with Addy and Girl Scouts and going on a canned food drive today with them also
- Finally changed the window treatments in Addy and Brady's rooms
- Ordered our 2011 photo book finally...it's only October 2012

Halloween
Apparently Halloween is a really big deal in our new neighborhood. To keep up with the Joneses, we now have spider webs in the bushes, lights and pumpkins on the trees. Here's a house down the street from us
Look at me
I went to see Addy at school and saw her work on the wall. They were learning about nouns. Look at her person. It's Betsy! I have red hair and she even gave me boobies!

We got slaughtered by OU
Well, the game sure wasn't pretty, but our cheerleader still was! Do you think she loved this sign? Since the game wasn't going well, we left in the middle to go get this for Scott
It was time to get an Austin-ified car vs. a Frisco-ified one. We will miss the Navigator but time to get some better gas mileage.

ACL 2012
Friday was fun...hot and crowded... but fun! Saturday we were supposed to go back but we opted for Chinese food, rest and recovery at home instead since the kids were staying with Nana and Poppy. The rain didn't motivate us either. Scott will be there today for more. It should be beautiful!

So proud of ths little girl...
We didn't get to read last night because Addy and Scott went to the movies so before school this morning she went and got her book and her glasses and took the initiative herself to read! So proud.
Then of course someone else had to read, too:

Mommo's visit
We had a great weekend with Mommo here! She picked Addy up from school and they then played horses and unicorns together
Of course Mommo brought goodies with her. Then we ate dinner at home that night because we had to be up early on Saturday morning for our yearly photos. We have no idea if the shoot went awful or great, but here's what the kids looked like at the very end of it:
Brady is playing the drums and Addy is saying, "seriously?" although I am sure you can get that from the picture, if you know these two.
Then we headed to Kerbey Lane for some pumpkin pancakes. Yummy!! Mommo sure was a sport to do all of this with us. P.S. I am really glad the man in the orange shirt behind the kids didn't have a crack shot for us. :)
After a birthday party, an ugly blowout in Brady's diaper, it was time for UT football!
It was chilly weather, a very excited crowd, and even though we lost it was a great game. West Virginia fans were really great too. There were a lot of them there and they were very nice. Scott loves to make new friends at the game with the other team.
