Quacks

This is why I love living with a funny 3 year old.  He is trying to go poop on the potty and when he thinks he has to go, he screams "I have to go potty" so we run in there.  If he just needs to fart, he will do it and say, "It's just a quack."  He calls it a quack cause he thinks it sounds like a duck quacking!  So  freakin' funny.

Brady's birthday

 Oh man, it was a crazy busy birthday weekend...birthday party pics to come.  Can't wait to see what Izzy got from the party.  Poor bug was sick this year on his birthday, he was still a good sport though.  Here's some pics from his actual birthday.  We had a yummy brunch with April, Adri, Kevin, sweet baby Gabe, Nana, Poppy, and Gigi.  Then it was pool time at the Smiths!  It sounds so weird saying that as I not used to that yet.  And of course I got a sunburn.

He ate this entire plate of pancakes for brunch.  And then followed that with ice cream, of course.  We all stuffed ourselves and I had an amazing sangria that I am going to try to copy.

 Bubba played on this airplane for an hour!  He and his sister just kept shooting each other.

We do!!

Instead of going to a restaurant, we went to my house instead.  There was a get together last week that I missed (and felt bad for making our new neighbor miss) so we one this week also.  Addy wasn't home for the most of it but when she got home, she loved being part of the fun and would not go to bed until everyone left, which was very late.

We christened the new fire pit.  It was really smoky.

Pool progress

They have made such awesome progress and it hasn't even been a week yet.  This is a great pool company, in case you ever want one.  We have been in our backyard more in this past week than the prior 8 months we have lived here.  It's gonna be a fun summer!

This is an awesome drink we found at our first trip to Founders Day in Dripping. Can't wait for this event to come back around next year!

Date night dessert

We finally tried Perla's...it was awesome...best menu with so many different fishes. I had redfish and Scotty had grouper. We were so good and then we had this...It's chocolate and peanut butter with popcorn and caramel and some awesome type of ice cream with it.

Yay Bubba!

Brady knew if he went poo poo in the potty he could get a Power Rangers phone. He knew what he needed to do and he did it! He was so excited. Now we just have to keep going in the potty!

Girl Scout Thursday

It was a rainy Thursday so Bubba and I went to the mall and we got a cookie cake for the Girl Scout meeting.  He was happy to get out of the house since he was cooped up all week.  And the girls were very happy to get a cookie cake!

Ugh

After this very long miserable week of having a sweet 2 year old poop and throw up way more than I thought was humanly possible (and an also sick hubby that has been a rock star through it) I have learned two things: 1. My son has THE most beautiful eyelashes I have ever seen (I would pay money for them) and 2. We must not have good water pressure at this house b/c we have been filling the pool since 10 am and it's 8:53pm and its not even halfway done.
