Summer fun

Addy has had a blast at Girl Scout camp this week.  Being outside in nature and going swimming, what else do you need?

Happy 10th!

Hey honey...thanks for the great time at the beach.   It was great just being able to talk to you without our beautiful kids asking questions every 2 seconds.  I am glad we got some alone time.  Now back to the real world, but we at least have new memories to get us through until our next one.  XOXO


My favorite parts of our trip...massages on the beach, walking from our swim up pool to the bigger pool, having our own pool, with a bartender and pool butler, our fun night out in Playa de Carmen,  golf cart rides all over the grounds, doing yoga with Scotty on the beach, meeting neat couples, doing too much eating and too much drinking, our candlelight dinner on the beach, seeing so many weddings on our walks through, and taking day and night walks on the beach.

If you need me, this is where I'll be...

I will either be in the swim up pool to our casita, or stuffing my face at one of the 5 star restaurants, or on the beach getting sunburned, or getting a massage at the spa.  I will not leave this resort until I have to.  Ahh, heaven.

Cousin Gabe got to swim today!! He had a ball! And Kevin took this awesome photo of Brady. He even puts his iPhone under water, but he's crazy like that.

Another great steak delivered!

Seriously, this steak you see here was better than most restaurants.  We were trying to keep our kids away from each other due to a stomach bug so our buddies made us dinner, and we brought their kids dinner. We ended up all together anyways, as a little wine always makes you feel you are invincible, but we tried at first to be good. But seriously this steak was so amazing and this bottle of wine was so good that we spent part of the night trying to buy it in cases. And then took the golf cart out. And then went swimming at midnight.

My idea jar is biting me in the butt

I made an idea jar for everytime Addison says I'm bored over the summer. She has to pull out a piece of paper and it could say do a chore or play a game. She is so excited about what she's going to get that she keeps saying it just so she can see what is coming next!

You know it's summer when

1. We swim all day.

2. We get to go see concerts. 

3. The whole fam goes to the movies.

4. I see midnight on my clock two nights in a row.

First and last day of Kinder

Can't believe an entire year has gone by...it's been a year of ups and downs but one thing for sure is we sure are proud of our baby girl!  Happy summer!
