Grateful

Wow, what a week. Will was killed on The Good Wife, Mila Kunis is pregnant, and its gone by so quick!  It started with Mommo's birthday, we couldn't be there, so what's the next best thing...getting her an iPad!

Scott coached a game this week, without Addy there, she was at a Girl Scout event.  She hated not being there.  Wednesday we went to Nana and Poppy's to celebrate Bryan and Lizette having a baby. Last night Brady graced me with his presence at 4am, thinking it was morning time and time to party.  Umm, no thanks.

This week I am grateful for good talks at workouts and Scott and I working hard on a new budget plan.  I have also been working on a new website/blog for work so that coupled with the dreadful defensive driving class I had to take has kept me on the computer a lot this week.  Scott has a deadline of getting all of his stuff for tenure in by Monday, so he's been busy getting that all together and been praying for him that all goes well.  He will be up for tenure this fall!

Today marks one month until my baby turns 4, ahhhhhh!

Today was one I need to remember...had the awesome Denim and Diamonds gala last night...too much fun (and pizza delivered to my house at midnight!)

Then this morning we woke up and had yummy breakfast tacos, picked up the kids at Nana's, went to our cousin Gabe's first birthday party, and then to Addy's softball game.  And oh my, so many proud moments. She hit the ball twice, scored a run.  An watching Scott coach the girls and every single girl had a hit today, it was great.  Then off to Addy's friend Savanna's birthday party and hanging with all my ladies there...then to Nana and Poppy's for dinner #2 with Ellen and Blair, and my girl Ali is IN Austin and calling me crying from a bathroom cause she's here and we aren't together, and now I am putting the kids to bed at Nana and Poppy's for spend the night #2, and hopefully will go home and pass right out cause it's been great, but I'm exhausted!!  (well that didn't happen, late night talks with Ellen and Nana until 11).  Maybe tonight I will go to bed at a decent hour??

Today

Woke up today with a sinus infection, feeling like poo.  Didn't get to work out with the girls, so that was a double whammy.  Then I went to my sales meeting and got "The Cool Thing" award for coming up with innovative ways to find houses for buyers.  That definitely got me feeling better and then Scott and I got to watch the sermon from Sunday we missed about daddies and their daughters.  We heard it was a good one, so we were anxious to see it and it definitely hit home.

Then it was time for the kids to come home and Addy came home first and she and her brother had a conversation on the phone that just warmed my heart.  Addy said, "hurry up and come home so you can play with me, ok?" and Brady said, "OK, I am almost there.  Guess what, I made a horse today at school.  I made it for you." and Addy said, "Thanks Bubba, I love you so much." and I was at tears!  I love it when they are sweet to each other.  Then it was back to normal and they were fighting and wrestling each other in no time.  ;)

Wicked!

Had a great day with Addy bear today! We went to lunch at Brick Oven and then sat in the third row at Wicked. It was a great show and we were with Olivia and Lexie, so always a good time.

And I may have even sold a home that isn't even on the market yet while there!!

Scott and I are eating butternut squash at like every meal lately. It is SO good. Love it when we eat colorful.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon looking at homes priced at $1.5-$1.9mil, the highest price point I have ever looked in.  I showed this beauty in Westlake yesterday...and going back for a second showing this week.  Fingers crossed.  :)

Opening day of softball!!

Woo hoo!  It's finally here, the opening day of softball.  How cute are these girls and their two coaches??

Poor Addy looks miserable.  She had a sleepover last night and obviously didn't have any sleep at the sleepover.  It was supposed to be over here as they were going to get the biggest surprise of seeing Frozen in the media room, but Bubba came home sick from school, so after the game the girls are coming over here for their big "surprise".  :)

Addy just got a hit and ran all the way to 3rd!!!! Getting play by play from Lex since I'm not there. :(. Home with Bubbalicious.
