Founders day and Brady's birthday weekend

Easter!

We had a GREAT day on Easter, well other than the brother/sister arguments.  Kids were a little crazy on their sugar highs which means they like to fight about anything and everything.  We woke up leisurely and had an Easter egg hunt at our house and then went to Nana and Poppy's house all day.  We ate a nice big meal and played headbandz, croquette, and baseball.  The kids were great at all the games played.

Saturday evening we went to church, it was a lovely message and then to Homespun for dinner, a table of 12 so it took quite a long time but it was yummy!  That day we did the Belterra Easter egg hunt, which was a lot of fun.

Brady started swim school today and loved it!  He got to go to different stations  and warmed up more and more. When he got out he said, "I want to do that again!" 

Supposed to be low key

This weekend, that is.

It started with a great day Friday weather wise. Went on a run, got some shine and even had a little R&R by the pool. 

We had the Mistrettas over for dinner for her birthday celebration (I forgot to take a pic but I put up balloons, a sign and candles on sticks dumped into a Whipped vodka bottle instead of a cake since she's diabetic).

Addy, meanwhile, was having a ball at the Thinkery museum at a sleepover with her Girl Scout friends.

Well Mommy drank too much that night  didn't end up in the room I wanted to, and didn't feel great Saturday either. Daddy and Bubba went to Alamo together to see Rio, while girls stayed home and Addy made a fort.

Sundy was church, Jump Wild and some yard time.  Lamb for dinner.  Next weekend really will be low key.  :)

We had beautiful visitors come through town. We got Brady out of school and spent the day with Jordan, Ryan, Quinlin and baby Ardyn.  We went to lunch and hung out at the house.

Later we let the kids get in the pool (cold!!) and we worked on getting the backyard beautiful after a visit at CJ's.
