Pool party turned into game and drinking party...

Weather didn't cooperate for us, but we had fun anyway!!

By the time the kids got home from school, the sun was out and THEY got to have a pool party instead!

Family time for Memorial Day weekend

We planted our garden...we baked cookies...we danced in the kitchen with the music really loud...we ate ice cream in bed...we did laundry...we took a nap...we sat outside and watched the rain...we swam....we played soccer...

We were a family.  And it was awesome!

This girl has had a WEEK!

Monday- Principal for the Day

Tuesday- She went from a Daisy to a Brownie at her bridging ceremony

Thursday- She did the long jump and tug of war

...and today she's playing baseball and going swimming!

AND... all while the rest of her family has been dealing with the  most horrific stomach bug ever known to come into this house and therefore, she has also been worrying all this week that she was going to get it...

Jamaica trip

We had an AMAZING vacation together as a family with the Slatons May 10-16th.  It was so fun for everyone!

First of May

While Addy and I were at a birthday party,

Scott was relaxing with his Dad

The next day was Addy's softball game and she scored the winning run and got a game ball!!

Then we went to Stanley's with the Nellis'

No, that's not really a beer!

Then we went swimming! And to a BBQ in the neighborhood.
