The Life of a 6 year old

Man, I wish I had the life of a 6 year old.  Just this weekend-watch movies, go swimming, eat Girl Scout cookies all day, play, go out to dinner with friends, have a sleepover, go to Sunday brunch, play some more, and then eat more Girl Scout cookies.

Getting real at Realty Austin

I had such a motivating day Friday! It's been nice to get back in a routine again and get out of the house some. Friday morning we had our first sales meeting with Realty Austin. Man, it's amazing what some of those folks bring in. Millions. It was a great first day though, even though I had to miss MOPS to go. Then after we went to lunch at a nice restaurant and I had wood fire trout that was amazing with spinach and a salad. Then I got to have a sweet massage and a major trip to HEB. We played outside all afternoon and Scott had the iTunes going in the garage and had totally organized it. I made the kids spaghetti and meatballs and it was movie night. It was a good day.

Potty training at its finest

Mom of the Year here. We are trying to potty train B and its true what they say, boys are harder than girls. He loves his shows, so we are letting Brady watch a show everytime he pees in the potty to get him to go. Hey it's better than candy, right?!

Are you even listening to me?

These kids love their devices.  This morning Scott had to yell that the house was on fire to see if anyone was even listening to him.  Our last lazy morning to get up and going before school starts tomorrow.

NYE

Happy New Year.  Wow, we had a great end of the year. The kids spent the night at Nana and Poppy's house while we spent some time with ourselves.  We went to a party in the neighborhood and their living room looked like this.  I  mean, how could this not be fun with a DJ booth in the dining room!

The next day we spent New Years day at Nana and Poppy's eating black eyed peas, spinach, cornbread  and the yummiest smoked ribs.  They were so good that even Addy wanted ribs.  So proud of her for eating them!!
