Such a fun week with family here!

Gigi and Ellen were here all week! Mommo came in town on Thursday for the musical.  Family in town equals big meals and lots of wine!  And we even threw in a day of shopping at the outlet malls and Mommo and I got to catch a movie on Friday!

Poker night

Good times. Lots of laughs. We had about 15 people this time. We moved it into the Mistrettas house instead of outside like last time. Scott ended up winning! I thought it was going to be Julie, then it was almost Tiffany, but Scott pulled it through. 

Ode to Ellen

We've got GiGi and aunt Ellen in town this week. Heading to turkey lunch tomorrow. Tonight they went to see her practice and then we had pasta shells, chicken Parmesan and salad for dinner.

Go Horns

We had a great family day at the game.  The day started with us all in different places, Addy at a birthday party, Scott and Brady at a soccer game (HE ACTUALLY PLAYED AND ALMOST SCORED A GOAL!) and I went to Wimberley with Ann to get some early Christmas shopping done.  Then we all dashed home and off to the game we went.  After the game, we went with Nana, Poppy, Gigi, Chris and Judy to PF Chang's for dinner.

We decided not to walk back to the car.  I've always wanted to take the kids on one of these, it was fun!  Especially since our journey back to the car was mostly uphill.  

Halloween 2013

Well this year, it was the pirate and the wicked kitty.  The entire day went by so fast!  It started with a 2 hour delay at school due to the enormous rainfalls and then a parade at Bubba's school.  It was so cute.  Then after school, Scotty started on Addy's face.  Our softball coach and his daughter came over and trick or treated with us.  After the Ct. party, we headed out with them and the Mistretta's.  We had fun!  And was very thankful for the golf cart to carry us home at the end.  ;)

We got wood!

Thanks to a buddy, we got wood delivered right in our front yard!  So cool!
