Addison had such a great day today (and yesterday too), it's amazing what happens around here when you take away one playdate! After school we were talking to a neighbor and when they saw Addison walk up, they told her she had the creme de la creme of Sonic backpack tags, the chicken. Her daughter had been looking for this one Sonic tag everywhere. Addy took it off her backpack right then and there and gave it to her. It was so great to see her face light up to give to someone else.
Then we headed to Wimberley where she did so great on a horse. She learned how to brush the horse, clean its hooves, put tape around its legs and put the bridle on. It was so cool watching her and watching the three other little girls her age doing it all by themselves. Her teacher was amazing, too. I know she would do great at riding, if only it didn't cost a horse's foot and a leg...
